Have you heard of the 7-minute workout? All you need is a wall (check), a chair (check) and the will power to take seven minutes out of your day to perform twelve exercises (ehhh...). Ever since I got ITBS (iliotibial band syndrome), I can't run more than a mile and a half without feeling excruciating pain on my left knee but I am doing my ITB stretches and using my foam roller and hopefully, in another three months, I will be running my usual distance again.
Let's go back to the 7-minute workout. The reason why I said "ehhh" to the will power part is because it takes me longer than seven minutes to get into my workout clothes, tie my hair back and put my sneakers on! It's my way of making an excuse to not do the workout. Nonetheless, I do do the 7-minute workout daily and I have been maintaining my body weight even without running so, to me, this short workout works.

Being and staying healthy, aside from exercising, also means eating right. I know that it is really hard to eat right when we're so busy but understand that skipping meals pushes our bodies into starvation mode, which causes the body to naturally slow down metabolism. Slower metabolism means a slower fat burning rate. It's a vicious cycle.
This turkey meatball recipe is quick, healthy and easy. Seriously, you can make this and serve it with a side salad in about thirty minutes. The secret to bursting flavors -- all natural tomato paste. This tomato paste is highly concentrated so just a little bit will pack a lot of flavors.
